Page Builder, also known as Groups, Homepages, or Your Stories, allows website administrators to create and modify extra pages on their website. This feature is often used to allow related people, groups or organisations who are registered members of the Intranet to manage their own page on the website. Often only administrators or the original user who created the page can modify it.

How do I make a new page using Page Builder?


  1. Go to the Administration area of the website.
  2. Locate the Page Builder Control Panel. This may be called Groups/Providers/Information, Networks, or Your Stories.
  3. Select 'Add'. An online form will open in a new window.
  4. Insert your details in fields in the form. Fields that are marked in red, with an asterisk (*), or labelled 'Required Field', must have information in them in order to successfully submit the form.
  5. Select 'Continue' at the bottom of the form.
  6. The page that you have just created will be displayed on screen. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. If you see a 'Modify' and 'Save' button, select 'Save' to finalise your page submission. Otherwise, select 'Modify' at the bottom of the screen. If you do not see these two buttons, your page has already been successfully submitted.

How do I modify an existing Page Builder page?

  1. Locate the Page Builder Control Panel in the Administration area as above.
  2. Select 'Modify' or 'Modify item.'
  3. A list of the existing Page Builder pages will be displayed. Select the one you would like to modify.
  4. You may see the page displayed, with a 'Modify' button at the top. Select the 'Modify' button. If you do not see this page, go to the next step.
  5. You should see the Page Builder form, containing the information from the page that you selected. Make any modifications that are necessary.
  6. Select the 'Update Page', 'Continue...' or 'OK' at the end of the page.
  7. The modified page will be displayed. If you see the buttons 'Modify' or 'Save' at the bottom of the page, select 'Save' to confirm the changes, or 'Modify' to return to the form. If you do not see these buttons, your modifications have already been confirmed.

How do I delete an existing Page Builder page?


  1. Locate the Page Builder Control Panel in the Administration area as above.
  2. Select 'Remove', 'Delete' or 'Delete Item'.
  3. A list of the existing Page Builder pages will be displayed. Select the one you would like to delete, scroll down to the end of the list, and select the 'Delete' button.
  4. The items that you selected to delete will be displayed on a new page. Select the 'Delete' or 'OK' button at the bottom of this list to confirm the deletion.
